Liz Suduk is a local beef farmer in Warwick. She is married and has three kids; two go to school in Warwick, and one lives and works in Stanthorpe. Active in the community, Liz volunteers and fundraises for local community groups including Southern Downs ARK, Warwick Montrose Light Horse Troop, and takes part in every ANZAC and Remembrance Day parade. She is the Secretary of the RSL Subbranch Warwick and a member of The Glen Rural Fire Brigade. Liz was a NSW police officer for 10 years prior to moving to Warwick, Queensland over 20 years ago.

Liz runs tours of her farm for school groups to show kids a hands-on approach to agriculture. Liz and her husband Nick also agist cattle for the local high schools for their agriculture programs. Primarily a beef farmer, she also has a flock of Dorper sheep and is attempting to go into hay production.

As the Pauline Hanson's One Nation candidate for the electorate of Southern Downs, Liz is passionate about giving a voice to the people of Southern Downs. For too long, the Southern Downs has been taken for granted by the Queensland State Government as a safe LNP seat and has been treated accordingly, with little to no resources being allocated. The aging and failing infrastructure across all towns and main roads are evidence of this neglect.

In her experience as a small business owner, Liz has faced the challenges of being an employer while battling government red and green tape. She believes the over-regulation from government on small businesses and local government is terrible. The hidden taxes, levies, and stamp duties attached to everyday living expenses such as power and fuel must stop. The cost of living needs to be more affordable, and One Nation has plans to help immediately with the cost of living and the homelessness crisis.

Liz has experienced the limitations placed on farmers by the State Government with PMAVS, water irrigator limits, water harvesting rules, permits for land use, rules for access points, roads, tracks, firebreaks, fencing, livestock, weeds, and pests, alongside all the Federal government requirements such as Biosecurity, NLIS laws, Food Safety, and a myriad of other requirements. She wants to simplify life for small business and farming communities.

Liz is an honest, hardworking Australian with unshakable ethics and a love of her local area, who deserves better. She will fight to be the voice in Queensland Government for Southern Downs, not afraid to say what needs to be said. It is something that the people of Southern Downs need and deserve.

I’m passionate about Southern Downs and I’ve dedicated my career to delivering for our community.
