Donation Preamble
Notice Regarding Political Donations
This Donation Preamble sets out the conditions governing the making of political donations to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW and is provided to ensure compliance with the Electoral Funding Act 2018 (NSW) (the “Act”) and associated regulations administered by the New South Wales Electoral Commission (NSWEC). By proceeding to make a donation, you agree to be bound by the terms and acknowledgements contained within this notice.

Permissible Donors
- Political donations may only be made by permissible donors whose details can be verified. By making a donation to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW, you expressly warrant that you are a permissible donor, being one of the following:
- an individual whose name currently appears on the Commonwealth electoral roll or the NSW State electoral roll;
- an entity with a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) that operates principally within Australia; or
- an individual or entity that has been approved by the NSW Electoral Commission to make political donations.
- Donations must be made using the donor’s own funds from your personal or business resources. You must not make a donation on behalf of another person or entity, act as an intermediary or conduit for another party, nor may you be reimbursed for a donation. You confirm that you are not acting on behalf of a foreign principal or any overseas-controlled entity.
- Political donations may only be made by permissible donors whose details can be verified. By making a donation to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW, you expressly warrant that you are a permissible donor, being one of the following:

Prohibited Donors
- Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW is prohibited by law from accepting donations from prohibited donors. For detailed definitions of prohibited donors, refer to section 53 of the Electoral Funding Act. A prohibited donor includes, without limitation:
- A property developer being a person whose principal business activity is property development, including companies and trusts engaged in property development, and entities that have made applications for development consent within the preceding two years;
- a tobacco industry business entity being a person whose principal business activity is the manufacture, distribution or sale of tobacco, tobacco products, cigarettes, cigars, or e-cigarettes;
- a liquor or gambling industry business entity being a person whose principal business activity relates to the manufacture, distribution or sale of liquor, or the conduct of wagering, betting or other forms of gambling;
- a close associate of any prohibited donor, including directors, shareholders holding more than 20% of voting shares, spouse, de facto partner, child, parent, business partner, or related body corporate;
- any industry representative organisation that is substantially funded or controlled by a prohibited donor; and
- any registered club as defined by the Registered Clubs Act 1976 whose business includes wagering, betting or gambling activities.
- By proceeding with a donation, you warrant that you are not a prohibited donor, and you are not making this donation on behalf of any prohibited donor.
- Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW is prohibited by law from accepting donations from prohibited donors. For detailed definitions of prohibited donors, refer to section 53 of the Electoral Funding Act. A prohibited donor includes, without limitation:

Donation Caps and Financial Year Obligations
- The current annual cap for political donations to Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW is $8,100 for the 2025-2026 financial year. This amount is indexed annually on 1 July each year and updated amounts are published on the NSW Electoral Commission website. For the purposes of this donation framework, "financial year" means the period from 1 July to 30 June.
- All political donations made by the same donor to the same recipient in a financial year must be aggregated when calculating compliance with donation caps and disclosure obligations. You acknowledge that the donation you are making contributes to your cumulative annual donation total and that you are responsible for ensuring you do not exceed the applicable statutory limit through all donations made during the financial year. You must monitor your total donations across all contributions including monetary donations, membership fees, event tickets, and any other benefits provided to Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW.

Cash and Anonymous Donation Restrictions
- Political donations in cash exceeding $100 are prohibited. All donations above $100 must be made electronically, by cheque, bank transfer, or other traceable payment method to ensure proper audit trails and compliance verification.
- Anonymous donations are unlawful where the donor's identity cannot be verified. You must provide your full legal name and either your enrolled residential address (for individuals) or registered business address and ABN (for entities). Anonymous donations over the reportable limit of $1,000 are prohibited and any such amount will be forfeited to the NSW Electoral Commission.

Disclosure Obligations
- Political donations of $1,000 or more in any financial year are subject to mandatory disclosure by both the donor and Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW under the Act. You must disclose political donations of less than $1,000 if your total donations to Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW in the same financial year reach $1,000 or more when aggregated.
- If you make political donations totalling $1,000 or more, you must complete and lodge a declaration with the NSW Electoral Commission within 21 days of reaching the disclosure threshold. Disclosures must be made through the NSW Electoral Commission's Funding and Disclosure Online portal. You acknowledge that Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW may be required to collect and disclose your personal information, including your name, address and donation details, to the NSWEC for legal compliance purposes.

Offences and Penalties
- Under the Act, you acknowledge it is an offence to:
- make a political donation as a prohibited donor;
- knowingly provide false or misleading information regarding a donation;
- attempt to conceal the true source of a donation;
- make anonymous donations exceeding the permitted threshold;
- make cash donations exceeding $100;
- deliberately split donations or engage in schemes to circumvent political donation caps or disclosure obligations; or
- otherwise contravene the restrictions imposed by the Act.
- Significant penalties apply for breaches, including substantial fines and regulatory action. Individual penalties may exceed $22,000 and corporate penalties may exceed $110,000 depending on the nature of the offence.

Unlawful Donation Management
- If Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW receives any unlawful donation, including donations from prohibited donors, anonymous donations above the threshold, or cash donations exceeding $100, such amounts will be returned to the donor where possible or paid to the NSW Electoral Commission within the statutory period as required by law. The value of unlawful donations may be recovered by the NSW Electoral Commission as a debt due to the state.
- If Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW receives any unlawful donation, including donations from prohibited donors, anonymous donations above the threshold, or cash donations exceeding $100, such amounts will be returned to the donor where possible or paid to the NSW Electoral Commission within the statutory period as required by law. The value of unlawful donations may be recovered by the NSW Electoral Commission as a debt due to the state.

Record-Keeping and Receipt Procedures
- Official receipts for political donations will be issued by persons authorised by Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW. Each receipt will contain the date of donation, amount received, donor details, and transaction reference number as required by the Act. Donation records will be retained securely for at least seven years as required by the Electoral Funding Act 2018 and may be subject to inspection by the NSW Electoral Commission for compliance verification purposes.
- Official receipts for political donations will be issued by persons authorised by Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW. Each receipt will contain the date of donation, amount received, donor details, and transaction reference number as required by the Act. Privacy and Use of Information
- Personal information collected in connection with donations will be handled in accordance with Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW’s Privacy Policy, the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW), and other relevant privacy legislation. Information will be stored securely using appropriate technological and administrative safeguards for the minimum statutory retention period, after which it will be destroyed or de-identified in accordance with our Records Management Policy.
- You acknowledge that Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW may be legally required to provide information to the NSWEC for compliance verification, auditing, investigation or enforcement purposes. In limited circumstances, information may also be provided to courts, law enforcement agencies, or other regulatory bodies where legally required. You have the right to access and request correction of your personal information by contacting our Privacy Officer using the details provided on our website.

Declarations
- By proceeding to make a donation to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW through this website, you expressly declare and acknowledge that:
- you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Donation Preamble and all applicable legal requirements;
- you are a permissible donor under the Act and not a prohibited donor as defined in section 53 of the Act;
- you are not acting as an intermediary, conduit or agent for another person or entity, and the donation is made from your own funds without reimbursement from any third party;
- you have not exceeded, and will not exceed through this donation, the annual political donation cap applicable to donations to Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW in the current financial year;
- you understand that if your total donations to Pauline Hanson's One Nation NSW in the current financial year reach $1,000 or more when aggregated, you are required to lodge a disclosure with the NSW Electoral Commission within the prescribed timeframe through the official online portal;
- all information you provide is true, complete and not misleading; and
- you understand that providing false or misleading information, or otherwise contravening the Electoral Funding Act 2018, constitutes a serious offence with significant legal penalties.
- Prior to submitting your donation, you will be required to confirm the following by way of an express declaration:
- By proceeding to make a donation to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation NSW through this website, you expressly declare and acknowledge that:
"I declare that I am a permissible donor and not a prohibited donor under the Electoral Funding Act 2018 (NSW). I confirm that I am not acting on behalf of another person or entity and that this donation is made from my own funds. I have not exceeded the annual donation cap and understand my aggregation and disclosure obligations. I acknowledge that all information provided is true and correct and that providing false information is an offence under NSW law."
