Geena Court is a passionate, motivated, and driven woman who arrived in Cairns from Bowral, NSW at the tender age of 17 with a backpack and $20 in 1987. She has been involved in the real estate industry for the past 39 years since the age of 15 and has won 37 awards during this time, including ‘Businesswoman of the Year’. Her awards reflect her integrity, honesty, and willingness to help people achieve their goals and dreams.

Geena has owned and operated her own real estate agency, Court House Realty, since 1999 and has been involved in the growth of Cairns with various developers, selling over 50 projects and over $100 million worth of property. She also owned and operated Short Term Accommodation since 2010, which closed due to Covid restrictions in 2020. Geena was also the editor and part owner of a local newspaper, ‘InCairns Today’, which focused on positive stories, local news, and reducing the cost of advertising for all agents and owners. Geena also has a business called ‘Finishing Touches FNQ’, which provides renovation consultation and design.

Geena is passionate about helping local residents and businesses survive through the current climate and making Cairns a safer place to live. Geena is committed to the biggest issue Cairns is facing which is Crime and will be hosting many crime forums across Cairns in the coming months. She stood in the Federal Election in 2022 and is standing again as her drive to see Cairns return to an economy where people feel safe, want to invest and live in has not wavered.
