ABOUT US
Jeff Bacon is One Nation's second candidate on the Legislative Council ticket for the upcoming NSW election, standing alongside lead candidate Stuart Bonds.
Jeff is the owner and managing director of Oceania Precision, a Tamworth advanced manufacturing company that produces firearms components and complete firearms for defence, law enforcement, agricultural and sporting markets.
An internationally recognised designer and inventor, Jeff holds patents and registered designs for firearms technology in Australia, Europe and the United States. With 20 years in small business and advanced manufacturing, he has been on the frontline of Minns Labor Government regulation and will advocate for people who are struggling to be master of their own ship in business, with minimal government interference.
Jeff says the Minns Government's firearms changes have brought a $2 billion industry to its knees, with sales down 80 per cent, making it impossible to do business for farmers, professional shooters and recreational hunters. One Nation will repeal the firearms element of the Terrorism and Other Legislation Amendment Act, restoring rights to what they were before the legislation was rushed through on Christmas Eve.
"I am proud of what Oceania Precision has achieved in designing and manufacturing world-class products in Tamworth," Jeff said.
One Nation NSW leader Mike Newman said Jeff would bring the expertise and advocacy NSW so desperately needs.
I hope, if given the great honour of being elected, this experience allows me to help others by overturning this legislation that treats law-abiding people like criminals.
